I have successfully practiced as a marriage family therapist, and a substance abuse counselor, and in residential treatment as a special education teacher with severely disturbed youth.

I recognize that I as the teacher, counselor, or therapist am not the one that heals or changes a client. The client gets all the credit for successfully learning new skills, developing new awareness, and attitudes that allow them to "WIN" in life. The only thing a good "life coach" does is help to facilitate the discovery of self, and support the development of new choices and behavior.

I also recognize that no one health professional can meet every client's needs, so I maintain referrals to other outstanding service providers.
